I very rarely will rate a place 5 stars, but just the service here alone is worth it. I mean just exceptional service, so nice and accommodating. So rare these days. Set in a quiet little strip, with a simple menu. We ordered the hot stone bibimbap and fried dumplings. It came out with a few bonchon. At the end of the meal they gave us some hot barley tea and my favorite strawberry candy. Was visiting from out of state for Thanksgiving and they made us feel like home away from home. 10/10 recommend! I wish I had a picture of the food but regardless just know it was really good.
This was our second time coming here and the first time we came the experience was amazing, but this time blew us away even more than we could have thought. The service is so so amazing and the waitress is such a lovely lady. She will tend to all of your needs no matter what and even go above and beyond. We were continuously checked on and when we finished our meal, we were greeted with ice pops, candy, sodas and tea to go—without asking. She even gave us a tub of pretzels to go when we asked for only a little bit to eat inside. However, the only downside I will say is we were charged 10 dollars for a side of lettuce with our pork belly and 4 dollars for a tiny side of sauce. If we had known, which we did not since we were not informed before the check came, we would not have ordered it. Nonetheless, it was a good experience once again.
Had to wait a little, but honestly? Did not mind one bit. They spoiled us with free water, tea, beer, and pretzels while we waited. The server was the sweetest! It’s just her and her mom running the restaurant, and WOW you can feel the love in that place. The food, the environment, the vibes, the staff… amazing. My card actually declined (LOL embarrassing moment ) and she handled it SO discreetly and kindly even wrote a little note. That smile could heal a broken soul. And the food… Lord have mercy. The radish and beef bulgogi? LIFE CHANGING. If the food was terrible (which it absolutely was NOT), I’d still come back just to see her smile But it wasn’t terrible — it was 10 freaking stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Go here when you’re sad. Go here when you’re happy. Just GO. I’ll be back a million times. Warning: You will fall in love with the server and the bulgogi. There is no cure. 10/10 would get my card declined again just to see her smile. Food is insane. Atmosphere is a hug. GO. I came for food… I left with joy, free drinks, a new favorite restaurant, and the most respectful declined card moment of my life. Will return 1,000,000 times.
